Transnet has raised $750 million in a sale of bonds, Reuters reports. The five-year bonds were sold through the company’s $2 billion global medium term note program, adds Business Day.

The South African logistics group will use the net proceeds to finance its capital expansion program. The company also has raised over half of the $5.61 billion to finance its capital expansion program, which includes upgrades to its logistics operations.
