Business-data storage company, Teradata, will acquire an 89% stake in analytics company, Aster Data, The Wall Street Journal reports. Teradata will pay about $263 million for the remaining stake it does not already own. Teradata will get about $21 million of cash from Aster Data’s balance sheet after the acquisition. Teradata had acquired an 11% stake in Aster Data in September 2010.
