In-store audio and video services provider, Mood Media, will acquire Muzak Holdings, The Wall Street Journal reports. The company, which provides piped music in elevators, is being sold for $345 million. The purchase price includes a $30 million earn-out and $10 million in warrants and convertible debentures, in addition to cash. Muzak, which emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2010 with about $230 million in debt, will retire its existing debt as part of the deal.
