Trading in global property derivatives hit their lowest level in five years in the fourth quarter of 2010, according to the Investment Property Databank. IPD reported that trading plunged in the last quarter to GBP192 million (USD309 million), compared with GBP731 million in the preceding three-month period. The last time trading was so low was the fourth-quarter of 2005, when GBP183 million in property derivatives traded.
