New York-based institutional asset manager, S Goldman Asset Management, has unveiled its maiden hedge fund to outside investors, HFMWeek reports. The SG Aurora Fund currently has $45 million in assets. The fund targets global family offices to reach its initial capacity of $100 million, which will be followed by $250 million, $500 million and $1 billion goals. Aurora, which debuted in August 2009, spends on event-driven situations, special situations, distressed debt and other deep value opportunities.
