Yellow Pages publisher, Yell, has paid back £150 million of its senior bank debt ahead of schedule, Financial Times reports. The company, which will save nearly £3 million in interest because of the move, used some of its cash reserves to fund the repayment. By May 2011, the company still has to pay £66 million out of the £800 million minimum reduction amount agreed under the terms of its 2009 refinancing. The group’s overall net debt, which was £2.9 billion at Sept. 30, 2010, including cash reserves of £261 million will remain unchanged.
