Three Long Island-based money managers, AJ Caro, Victor Plotkin and Alex Rabinovich have launched a new hedge fund, Newsday reports. The Genius Hedge Fund is designed to offer long-term returns for the customer’s portfolio that minimizes their exposure to risk.

The fund launched by the trio is based in Bohemia, New York. Two among the three partners, Plotkin and Rabinovich are chess players, while Caro is a private investigator.
