Credit Acceptance is planning to repurchase about $125 million of its outstanding stock. The company will buyback about 1.9 million shares at $65.625 per share and will fund the acquisition from the proceeds of a new debt financing and the existing $170 million revolving secured credit facility. The company had 27.3 million shares outstanding as of Dec. 31, 2010. Georgeson is the information agent for the offer, while Computershare Trust Company is the depositary.
