CPI Qualified Plan Consultants has appointed Matthew Scott as retirement plan consultant of its newly opened Phoenix, Arizona, consulting office, PLANSPONSOR reports. He will represent CPI with retirement plan sponsors and their financial advisers.

Prior to this, Scott has served as senior vice president of retirement plans for a mutual fund company. CPI is a German consulting firm, incorporated in March 2001.
