Chile’s central bank will continue its $12 billion currency market intervention program, The Wall Street Journal reports. The apex lender will keep on buying $50 million daily from February 9 to March 8 from the market.
The program was rolled-out on January 5, will increase the county’s foreign currency reserves. The authority has so far accumulated around $1.25 billion this year through the intervention.
