The Bank of Mexico has acquired the remaining $200 million from holders of the put options it sold at the end of February 2011, The Wall Street Journal reports. Until now, all of the options to sell dollars to the central bank during March have been exercised. The Mexico’s central bank sells $600 million in put options at the end of each month for use during the following month. The central bank’s foreign reserves stood at $122.05 billion at the end of last week.
