Micro-market private equity firm, Evolution Capital Partners, has named Gene Marino as a partner. In his new role, Marino will focus on sourcing new investment opportunities and continue to build the Evolution brand in the Chicago region.

He will also join the board of existing Evolution portfolio companies. Before joining Evolution, Marino served as president and CEO of Innerpac, a niche manufacturer of specialty packaging products and a portfolio company of Evolution.
