The €100 million Geneva-based fund manager, Argos Investment Managers, will launch its new product later in February, HFMWeek reports. The Argos IRIS Fund will be a systematic long/short equity index-focused strategy, investing in short-term, medium-term and longer-term futures globally.

The firm recently appointed ex-Wegelin & Company director, Mathilde Scaillet, for its second managed futures launch. In December 2010, Argos rolled out its first managed futures fund, the Compass Fund, with commitments from private banks and other institutions and focuses on Europe.
