The volume of mortgage valuations in the U.K. surged 107% in February, compared with a year ago, while the valuations themselves rose 52% over the same period, according to The Connells Group. The British real estate agency also reported that residential mortgage valuations climbed 53% last month from January and were up roughly 25% from a year earlier.
