Omani lender, Bank Muscat, may launch an $800 million bond program, Zawya reports. The Euro Medium Term Notes (EMTN) program, which will allow the company to tap the international bond markets, is subject to shareholder approval. The EMTN program will be of different currencies, in different amounts on different dates and with varying terms of subscription. Bank Muscat is likely to carry out the EMTN issue in tranches in the current fiscal year.
