A new credit crisis is looming for European debt markets. In the first six months of 2011, banks are projected to refinance roughly €400 billion ($534.8 billion) of debt, while the figure for European governments is around €500 billion ($668.1 billion). The totals do not included hundreds of billions of mortgage-backed debt set to mature.
