The Argentine unit of Brazil’s Petroleo Brasilero (Petrobras) is planning to sell its 27% stake in power distributor Empresa Distribuidora Sur (Edesur), Bloomberg reports. Petrobras Energia is also considering selling an oil refinery and gasoline stations.
The company is seeking to clean up its portfolio in the country as part of a strategy to become an integrated energy company. Petrobras is also working to develop non-conventional gas projects in southern Patagonia.
