Commodities investor, FourWinds Capital Management, has floated a new agriculture fund, Reuters reports. The new futures fund, Ceres II, aims to raise about $100 million in funds by the end of 2011. The fund has already secured $20 million from two investors, a small institution and a large Nordic pension fund. The firm is also planning to launch another fund targeting physical agriculture assets, which may include farmland.
