Bermuda has made changes to its 2006 Investment Funds Act, FINalternatives reports. As per the amended act, the definition of service provider has been extended to include auditors appointed to a fund. The act also states that fund administrators will be required to notify the Bermuda Monetary Authority in advance when there is a potential change of control. Bermuda’s new Investment Funds Amendment Act 2010 received the approval of the Governor General on December 22, adds HedgeWeek.
