Vital Capital Investments has raised over $250 million for its first fund, Bloomberg reports. The Vital Capital Fund I, which will invest in African markets, such as Angola, Ghana and Mozambique, seeks to raise another $250 million.

Private-equity firm, Vital Capital Investments, invests in housing and agriculture businesses in Africa. The firm has already invested in Kora Housing, a developer of affordable housing in Angola.
