WDB Asset Management has launched a new growth fund, What Investment reports. The WDB Growth Fund will seek to achieve capital appreciation rather than income and have a medium-high risk portfolio. It will have an initial charge of 4.5% and an annual charge of 1.5% and be benchmarked against the IMA Active Managed sector index.
The fund will hold at least 10% in non-U.K. equities, with up to 60% able to be held in higher risk assets. The firm is also seeking regulatory approval for a Defensive fund, which will invest in a low/medium risk portfolio of assets and be benchmarked against the IMA Cautious Managed sector.
