Spain has sold €5.5 billion in 12- and 18-month Treasury bills, Bloomberg reports. The 12-month bill worth €4.5 billion was sold at an average yield of 2.947%, down from 3.449% in a previous auction on Dec. 14, 2010. The 18-month bill raised €1 billion at an average yield of 3.367%, compared to 3.721% in December. The government had targeted to sell a maximum of €6 billion.
