J Chahine Capital is looking to unveil a portfolio with shorting powers, Fund Strategy reports. The offshore Digital Stars fund range-manager may also launch a fund accessible to British retail investors which incorporates shorts, but will be 100% net long overall. The firm’s Digital Stars Europe ex U.K. fund was the only fund to deliver top-decile returns and risk-adjusted returns over 2010 and over the three years preceding. J Chahine has now opened up a Sicav-Sif long/short fund for institutional investors.
