Gold Fields has increased its stake in its Peruvian division, La Cima, by acquiring almost all the shares it did not already own, Reuters reports. The South African gold mining company has paid $382 million for the acquisition. The buyer purchased 167.3 million of the 175 million shares and has offered $1.5 per share. Peruvian broker, Credibolsa, managed the operation.
