Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services has placed 49 tranches of U.S. collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) on watch for potential upgrade, The Wall Street Journal reports. The ratings agency will also review nine tranches for a downgrade. The issuance amount of tranches with ratings on upgrade is $2.89 billion, while the amount of those being placed on review for downgrade is $1.54 billion. S&P seeks to resolve the watch placements within 90 days.
