The iShares Silver Trust has witnessed a new single-day volume record in “puts” and “calls” on April 25, The Wall Street Journal reports. About 919,000 call options to buy the silver ETF were traded, as opposed to 515,000 puts to sell it.
The ProShares Ultra Silver exchange-traded fund also saw record options volume on April 25. It rose $3.79, or 1.1%, finishing at $344.75 after rising 6.4% during the session.
