Whale Rock Capital Management shook up its U.S. long portfolio in the first quarter.

The big changes came as firm headed by Alex Sacerdote posted a 14 percent loss for the three-month period.

Through April, the flagship fund was still down 12.7 percent, while the Long Opportunities Fund was up 1.2
