Several large, well-known hedge fund firms with wide investment latitudes have sharply boosted their bets on U.S. stocks in recent quarters.
For example, Seth Klarman’s Baupost Group disclosed that it held about $12.6 billion in long bets on U.S. common equities at the end of March, according to its recently filed 13F document.
