How Tiger Cub Toscafund Is Faring This Year

Most of its funds are solidly in the black — with one big exception.

Toscafund Asset Management’s Tosca fund has moved back into positive territory after posting strong gains in November.

The global financials-oriented hedge fund surged about 10 percent last month and is now up 1.3 percent for the year, according to an investor.

Most of the London firm’s other, lesser-known funds are more solidly positive for the year and beating their respective benchmarks.
