Mauled by Markets, But Saved by Amazon

Certain tech-oriented hedge funds skipped the carnage of Monday’s market selloff.

Monday’s market mauling amid a worldwide surge in Covid-19 cases and fears of a sputtering economy in the fourth quarter sent many of the most popular internet and tech hedge fund stocks down between 2 and 3 percent for the day.

However, some tech-driven hedge funds exhaled a big sigh of relief when one of their big favorites was able to sidestep the selloff.
