Sarissa Capitalizes on Two Hot Trends: Health Care and SPACs

The activist healthcare-oriented firm is launching its second new investment vehicle in four months.

Another hedge fund firm is launching a blank-check company.

This time it’s health care activist Sarissa Capital Management, which filed plans on Wednesday with regulators to raise at least $175 million for Sarissa Capital Acquisition Corp.

The firm said in an S-1 filing it plans to do some sort of deal in the healthcare and biopharma industry.
