That seems to be the mantra of Rubric Capital Management, founded by David Rosen, a one-time Institutional Investor Hedge Fund Rising Star who earlier worked at Steven Cohen’s SAC Capital’s CR Intrinsic.

Rubric was down double digits in the first quarter but made back its sharp March losses in April, according to an investor.
