What a difference a year has made for the folks at Nokota Management... or so it seems.

The hedge fund founded by Matthew Knauer and Mina Faltas lost 30 percent 2018, a year when the major U.S. stock indexes lost between 4 and 6 percent, according to a person familiar with its results.
