Jason Wild, president and CEO of JW Asset Management, has apparently come down from his high. And it hasn’t been much fun.

As Institutional Investor reported nearly two years ago, two of Wild’s hedge funds — the “B” shares of JW Partners and the similarly managed JW Opportunities Fund — produced a 146 percent gain in 2020, thanks in large part to their big bets on cannabis.
