Yelp Escapes SQN’s Activist Campaign

Amish Mehta’s SQN Investors has apparently ended its activist campaign against Yelp.

The long-short manager unloaded all of its nearly three million shares of the online company known for its local business reviews, SQN’s second quarter 13F filing revealed.

In a phone interview, Mehta said he sold the stock because he felt it that the price was too rich relative to the risk of achieving the plan announced by management in response to SQN’s recommendations.
