Voce Capital Management’s proxy fight with Argo Group International Holdings is getting more heated.

On Wednesday the little-known activist hedge fund firm founded in 2011 by J. Daniel Plants accused the specialty insurance and reinsurance company of filling two board seats with “legally invalid” appointees and called on the company to rescind these appointments.
