Third Point Remains Barely in the Black

Dan Loeb’s Third Point continues to muddle along in what is shaping up to be a very disappointing year for the multistrategy manager.

The hedge fund squeezed out a paltry 0.1 percent gain in September, and is now up just 0.7 percent for the year, according to its monthly report.
