The long-short fund continues to be hurt by its largest longs and high-profile shorts, adding to its already significant loss this year with another one in September.

Another month, another loss for David Einhorn’s Greenlight Capital.

The value-driven long-short manager posted another decline in September, losing 1.3 percent in a month when the major stock market indices gained less than 1 percent.

Greenlight’s eponymous flagship fund is now down 26.1 percent for the year.
