Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s apparent marijuana smoking on a video podcast, short seller Andrew Left’s lawsuit against the company, and the resignation of Tesla’s chief accounting officer — all of which happened just last week — were the latest in a string of events that have dragged down the electric car maker’s stock, giving long-suffering Tesla short sellers a break.
