Barry Rosenstein’s JANA Partners got off to a strong start in the second half of the year.
The activist hedge fund firm posted a 2.4 percent gain in July in its JANA Partners fund, boosting its gain for the year to 6.9 percent, according to a monthly performance report sent to clients and obtained by Institutional Investor.
