Viking Global Gains Ground, But Sharply Lags Other Tiger Cubs

O. Andreas Halvorsen’s Viking Global Investors posted strong gains in the second quarter in both its long-short and long-only funds.

As a result, they moved solidly into the black for the year at the halfway point.

Viking Global Equity rose 5 percent in the three-month period ending June 30, bringing gains for the year to 4.8
