When long-short hedge funds start reporting second-quarter results, they can’t blame their investors for expecting them to way outperform the overall stock market.

After all, ten stocks have accounted for more than 100 percent of the Standard & Poor’s 500’s year-to-date return — and four accounted for a bulk of these gains, according to a recent Goldman Sachs report.
