While the World Cheers, Hedge Funds Exit Google

A growing number of hedge funds are bailing out of Google Inc., one of the most popular hedge fund stocks as well as a top performer for the past few years.

As the stock zoomed up 45 percent this year and 60 percent since early 2012, many of the smartest money has been scaling back their exposure to the popular Internet search company, with more than a dozen of them liquidating their entire position in the past quarter alone.
