Hedge Fund Crime Climbs in September

Ponzi schemes and prostitutes landed a handful of hedge funders in hot water this month.

Hedge funds have kept the U.S. criminal court system pretty busy this month.

In the past few weeks alone, at least four managers -- or people pretending to be managers -- have been sentenced to prison in separate cases, while the head of a firm with more than $3 billion under management was arrested for soliciting a prostitute.
