Jeff Ubben’s ValueAct Capital in March raised its stake in insurance broker Willis Group Holdings to 9.5 percent, according to a regulatory filing. The activist hedge fund firm also said the company agreed to nominate Ubben to its board of directors, according to the filing, dated April 30.
