New York–based AllianceBernstein, a $474 billion global investment management firm, is not well known for its fund-of-funds business, but the $9.05 billion arm is enjoying impressive growth. Michael Conn was brought on in February 2014 as managing director of strategy, operations and development to help build out the business.
