Liongate Capital Management

Institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals know exactly what they’re getting into when investing with Liongate Capital Management, a London–based fund of hedge funds. The firm, which specializes in niche investing markets, began asking underlying hedge fund managers in 2009 to provide entire portfolio breakdowns at the individual position level to enhance transparency and so that Liongate could ensure proper correlations and exposures. At the time, only about 55 percent of underlying managers disclosed their stock positions.
