Vietnam Education Foundation Names Chairman

Independent U.S. federal agency Vietnam Education Foundation has appointed Christopher Fussner as chairman of the VEF board of directors.

Independent U.S. federal agency Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) has appointed Christopher Fussner as chairman of the VEF board of directors. Sandy Hoa Dang and Isaac Silvera have been named new presidential appointees to the VEF board. Fussner is owner and founder of surface mount technology distributor TransTechnology.

Dang is founder and ex-executive director of Asian American Lead, an organization, which helps immigrant families through a range of educational and social services. Currently, she is a special initiatives adviser at women-owned business JBS International and a change management consultant for Seattle-based national operating foundation Casey Family Programs. Silvera is the Thomas Dudley Cabot professor of the natural sciences at Harvard University.
