Commodity Prices Down In Oct: Brazil Bank

As per an estimate by Brazil’s central bank Banco Central do Brasil, commodity prices have come down in October.

As per an estimate by Brazil’s central bank Banco Central do Brasil, commodity prices have come down in October, Bloomberg reports. Commodity prices in October declined 3.29 percent from September levels. However, compared to an year ago, commodity prices have increased by 15.49 percent.

The commodity index tracks a group of international commodities which the bank views as most important for Brazilian consumer prices. Commodities whose prices are monitored by the index include beef, cotton, soy, wheat, sugar, corn, aluminum, iron-ore, copper, crude oil, natural gas and coal among others.
