S.A. Investor Buys London’s Tower 42

South African investor Nathan Kirsh has acquired the tallest occupied skyscraper in London, Tower 42, for £285 million.

South African investor Nathan Kirsh has acquired the tallest occupied skyscraper in London, Tower 42, for £285 million, Times of Swaziland reports. The property was jointly owned by LaSalle Investment Management, Blackrock’s U.K. property fund and Hermes Real Estate, adds Financial Times.

The skyscraper was put up for sale in September for £290 million. Exemplar Properties, the London-focused developer, and private equity group Doughty Hanson were the other bidders of the property, which was once headquarters of NatWest Bank.
